Participation of the Security Industry in the Hackathon
The event saw active participation from the security industry, with the institution presenting two display tables, each with a student group: a female team from Al-Raya School, Grade 3, and a male team from Green Wood International School. Each table consisted of five students, in addition to coordinators from the participating schools and a mentor from Sira.
The students were tasked with discussing and developing technological security solutions to address two main challenges:
-
Securing and monitoring events in open areas or remote locations lacking infrastructure or electricity.
-
Enhancing rapid mobility and response to alarm situations in large resorts and hotels.
Engineer Mohammed Matar, Director of the Research and Development Laboratory, led brainstorming and discussion sessions with the students, offering guidance and instructions to help them develop innovative technological solutions.
