The Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intersec to strengthen collaboration and work jointly towards developing and advancing the security sector. The agreement also aims to elevate security exhibitions to raise awareness and achieve global professional standards. The MoU was signed by H.E. Khalifa Ibrahim Al-Sulais, CEO of SIRA, and Mr. Ted Bloom, CEO of Intersec, in the presence of several senior officials and experts in the security industry.

Enhancing Collaboration in Strategic Areas

The MoU seeks to open new horizons for collaboration in several strategic areas, including:

  • International Participation: Strengthening global presence to stay abreast of security developments and enhance international awareness.
  • Exhibitions: Collaborating and participating in all local and international Intersec exhibitions to exchange expertise, explore the latest innovations, and adopt best security practices.
  • Knowledge Exchange: Establishing effective channels for the exchange of security knowledge among relevant stakeholders.
  • Workshops and Events: Hosting specialized events and workshops to develop competencies and improve security performance in alignment with global best practices.

On this occasion, H.E. Khalifa Ibrahim Al-Sulais, CEO of SIRA, stated:
