Dubai Welcomes 2026 with Large-Scale Fireworks Displays Under the Supervision of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency

This year, Dubai’s sky is set to sparkle with more than 48 fireworks displays across 40 locations, allowing residents and visitors, including families, to enjoy the festive atmosphere at a wide range of landmarks and tourist and entertainment destinations.

The hosting locations for the fireworks displays include a diverse and expanded list of Dubai’s most prominent landmarks, showing an increase and greater variety compared to last year. These locations include:
Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Frame, Expo City Dubai, Global Village, Jumeirah Beach Hotel – Jumeirah Group, Bluewaters (The Beach – JBR), Al Seef, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Hatta, Dubai Creek Harbour, G1 Beach – La Mer, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, Madinat Jumeirah, Marsa Al Arab, Al Marmoom Oasis, Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Town Square – Nshama, Topgolf Dubai, Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, Atlantis The Palm, Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort, Park Hyatt Dubai, One&Only Royal Mirage, One&Only The Palm, Four Seasons Resort – Jumeirah Beach, Four Seasons Hotel – Nammos Restaurant, Dubai International Stadium, FIVE Palm Jumeirah Hotel, Bulgari Resort & Residences, Address Montgomerie Dubai, JA Jebel Ali Beach Hotel, Palazzo Versace Dubai, Banyan Tree Dubai Resort, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Emirates Golf Club, voco Monaco Hotel – The World Islands, and Trump International Golf Club.

In this context, His Excellency Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis, Chief Executive Officer of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency, stated:

“The Agency’s role in licensing, regulating, and supervising fireworks displays during the New Year 2026 celebrations comes within a proactive approach that we adopt, starting from issuing fireworks permits through to full on-site supervision of the displays, to ensure site readiness, monitor companies’ compliance with approved quantities, and ensure the safety of all execution stages.”

He emphasized that the cooperation of security entities and partners in this major event is an integral part of Dubai’s success as an icon of unique, spectacular, and safe celebrations, placing the security and safety of the public at the top of priorities during the displays.

The Security Industry Regulatory Agency also stresses the importance of the public’s adherence to all instructions and guidelines issued by security teams and organizers to ensure the safe conduct of the event and to provide a safe celebratory experience for all, including:

1. No entry into restricted areas:

   • Entry into or approaching restricted zones, fireworks launch areas, or any flammable tools or materials is strictly prohibited.

2. Maintaining designated safety distances:

   • Adhering to the safety distances specified by security authorities to ensure public safety and prevent any potential risk.
