Participation of the Security Industry in the Hackathon

The event saw active participation from the security industry, with the institution presenting two display tables, each with a student group: a female team from Al-Raya School, Grade 3, and a male team from Green Wood International School. Each table consisted of five students, in addition to coordinators from the participating schools and a mentor from Sira.

The students were tasked with discussing and developing technological security solutions to address two main challenges:

1.Securing and monitoring events in open areas or remote locations lacking infrastructure or electricity.

2.Enhancing rapid mobility and response to alarm situations in large resorts and hotels.

Engineer Mohammed Matar, Director of the Research and Development Laboratory, led brainstorming and discussion sessions with the students, offering guidance and instructions to help them develop innovative technological solutions.

About the Event

The "Future Innovators Hackathon" is an annual event aimed at the first school sector in Dubai schools. It seeks to explore and develop students' skills in using artificial intelligence and programming to solve real challenges posed by the participating institutions. This event also contributes to supporting excellence and innovation, providing institutions the opportunity to adopt practical, applicable solutions.

Media Coverage and Recognition

The institution ensured media coverage of the event through internal bulletins and reports. Additionally, it presented commemorative gifts to the students and distributed certificates of appreciation to the students and coordinators in recognition of their outstanding efforts.

Innovation: The Pillar of the Future

The institution emphasized the importance of supporting young minds and encouraging them to use technology in creating future solutions that can be implemented. It explained that this participation aligns with its ongoing commitment to developing the private security sector and promoting innovation in this vital field.

Engineer Mohammed Matar expressed his thanks to everyone involved in this initiative, saying: "I would like to thank all the participants and organizers for their continuous support and encouragement, and I emphasize the importance of such initiatives in developing the creative and entrepreneurial skills of the next generation. The experience we went through during this hackathon will remain a motivator to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in all fields of work."

He also praised, saying: "We are confident that these initiatives will form the cornerstone of a bright future based on knowledge and creativity, and we will continue to support and develop young talents to realize promising future visions."
