SIRA Launches Pioneering Initiatives at Al Ameen Forum 2025: Between the Past and the Future… A Legacy Renewed

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – October 2025

In support of the national agenda and to promote a culture of sustainable security, the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) announced the launch of a series of pioneering initiatives during its participation in Al Ameen Forum 2025, held yesterday in Dubai under the theme “Between the Past and the Future… A Legacy Renewed.”
These initiatives reaffirm SIRA’s leading role in preserving the national heritage and advancing the security ecosystem through innovative and smart methods—reflecting its vision of making security a way of life in the UAE community.

From the Fields of the Past to the Technologies of the Future

The Al Ameen Forum 2025 featured the screening of a cinematic film produced by SIRA using artificial intelligence technologies, delivering a visually captivating and nationally inspired experience. The film traced the evolution of shooting in the UAE—from a symbol of survival and protection in the past, to a tool of training and discipline in the present, and now to a smart, safe educational experience for the future.

The film showcased how shooting transformed from an ancestral craft into a national commitment embodied by Emirati youth in the fields of national service. Today, it has become both a hobby and a shared responsibility embraced by men and women alike, reflecting deep values of loyalty, belonging, and pride in Emirati heritage.
It also highlighted the new initiatives announced by the Agency, aimed at preserving and passing down this national legacy from the ancestors to future generations, combining authenticity with smart technologies.

Smart Security Initiatives for the Generations of Tomorrow

In line with its mission to enhance community security, SIRA unveiled a package of innovative initiatives designed to protect heritage and promote security awareness across all segments of society, including:

  • Smart Home Safes for Firearms:
Equipped with the latest safety technologies and accessible only by authorized users, these safes enhance household security and personal safety. Shooting clubs are also required to provide them for individuals wishing to store their firearms in a safe and controlled environment that meets the highest protection standards.

  • Smart Shooting Simulation Programs:
Advanced systems that accurately simulate real weapons—from firearms to laser-based models—offering children and youth a safe and educational experience that develops their skills while instilling discipline and responsibility in a risk-free setting.

  • Empowering Emirati Women in Shooting Fields:
Through specialized training programs and professional simulation tools in a safe, private environment, these initiatives provide women with an opportunity to take part in the nation’s heritage and contribute actively to the present—reinforcing their role as vital partners in society.

Strategic Partnership at the Middle East Hunting and Shooting Exhibition

As part of this vision, SIRA affirmed its pioneering role as a main sponsor and strategic partner at the Middle East Hunting and Shooting Exhibition 2025, underscoring its commitment to strengthening community security and regulating the practice of shooting and firearm ownership in homes and clubs under precise standards and professional mechanisms that ensure safety and accountability.

Toward a More Aware and Future-Ready Society

SIRA emphasized that these initiatives represent national achievements that contribute to raising community awareness, promoting responsible and safe behavior, and building a generation that is:

  • More aware of responsibility,

  • More committed to discipline, and

  • More ready to answer the call of the nation.

H.E. Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis, CEO of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency, stated:“At SIRA, we believe that security is not merely a set of procedures and systems—it is a culture that must be built within generations and reflected in daily behavior and practice. Our initiatives are designed to align with modern transformations and embody the vision of our wise leadership to strengthen community security and preserve our national heritage through smart solutions that balance authenticity and innovation, offering our youth a safe educational experience that prepares them to take responsibility and play an active role in the nation’s journey toward the future.”
