Security Guards Honored for Their Efforts in Combating Fire at Al Habtoor City Hotel

The security guard, employed by Skill Force Security Services, received a report about the fire and immediately contacted the hotel's security supervisor. The supervisor swiftly called in the security team, who responded promptly, helping to extinguish the fire and preventing its spread to other areas.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Jamal Al Amiri, Director of Corporate Communications, and Engineer Khaled Al Hamadi, Director of Standards and Regulatory Affairs, along with Mr. Mohammed Al Mazmi, Director of Security Service Providers. Each security guard was awarded the Medal of Courage, which is granted to individuals who display extraordinary bravery in emergency situations.

The Security Industry Regulatory Agency reaffirmed its commitment to supporting security personnel in the private security sector, applauding their courage and professionalism in facing challenges. The agency strives to provide a safe working environment and enhance the competency of its workforce through innovative training programs aligned with international standards. As part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation between security agencies, His Excellency Khalifa Al Saleis, CEO of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), welcomed His Excellency Dr. Tino Eggelmann, Director of the German Federal Office of Criminal Investigation – Customs Division.
