Strengthening Digital Collaboration between SIRA and the E-Government Authority of Ras Al Khaimah

The visit aimed to explore Dubai’s pioneering experience in regulating the private security sector and to gain insights into the vital role SIRA plays in supporting national security efforts, combating organized crime, and fostering strategic partnerships between the public and private security sectors—contributing to a safer and more secure society.

H.E. Khalifa Al Saleis welcomed H.E. Eng. Ahmed Al Sayyah and led him on an introductory tour highlighting SIRA’s main facilities.

The visit began with a tour of the “SIRA Innovations Exhibition,” where the delegation was introduced to the agency’s latest initiatives, smart technologies, and key security solutions. The visit continued with a stop at the “SIRA Security Museum,” which features a curated collection of rare devices and systems that illustrate the historical progression of the security industry. 

The final stop was the “Testing Laboratory” for security equipment and systems, managed by qualified Emirati professionals. The lab is distinguished by its dual function—not only conducting testing and licensing but also contributing to the development of innovative testing technologies being used for the first time in the security field.

H.E. Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis expressed his appreciation for the visit, emphasizing its importance in highlighting Dubai’s advanced experience in security regulation and SIRA’s role in enhancing preventive and proactive security frameworks through the adoption of best practices and forward-looking technologies.

The visit concluded with a discussion on future cooperation prospects, during which H.E. Al Saleis reaffirmed SIRA’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and coordination with government entities both locally and internationally, while welcoming all initiatives that promote the exchange of expertise and knowledge in the field of security.

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen Dubai’s position as a smart and safe city, the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) participated under the “Digital Dubai” pavilion at GITEX Global 2025, the region’s largest technology event.
