The Security Industry Regulatory Agency - SIRA has participated in the third edition of the Middle East Security Leaders Conference as a supporting governmental partner, organized by the International Security Journal ISJ.
The conference opened with the attendance of His Excellency Khalifa Ibrahim Al Salais, the CEO of SIRA, and Brigadier Dr.Sultan Abdul Hamid Al Jamal, Director of the Dubai Police Academy. Their presence followed speeches delivered by Mr. Ian Stokes, the CEO of ISJ International Security Journal, and Mr. James Thorpe, Chief Editor of ISJ.
H.E. Khalifa Al Salais presented the opening speech titled "Dubai: A Long Legacy of Crisis Management Culture," focusing on Dubais experience in recovering from unprecedented crises and disasters. This experience demonstrated an exceptional ability to turn sudden challenges into success stories in Dubais security and safety journey. Dubais unique culture of crisis management through transparent leadership, with leaders at the frontlines, working hand in hand with the public and various agencies to overcome crises.
The conference included several participations from department managers in the Security Industry Regulatory Agency who participated in some panel discussions. Additionally, they engaged and met with the stakeholders, company representatives, and security directors among the attendees during the networking sessions.
